Please join us on 14 July 2020 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT for our OCLC Dewey Update Virtual Meeting. This meeting replaces the OCLC Dewey Update Breakfast session that was originally scheduled to have been held at ALA Annual this year.
In this session, you will hear from:
- Violet Fox and Alex Kyrios, Dewey Editors, as they share the latest news, including new classification numbers, future plans, and how you can get involved in making changes to Dewey
- Eric Childress, Community Manager, as he showcases the WebDewey Community Center
- Michele Zwierski, Cataloging Services Manager, Nassau Library System and Editorial Policy Committee (EPC) Chair, as she discusses Dewey Decimal Classification in the context of a library system or consortium
There will be time to take questions you have at the end of the presentations, and we will answer as many as time allows.
UPDATE, July 22: The recording is now available! See today's post for full info.
Is there a recording of this available. I would like to re-watch it.
