DDC 23, the new print edition of the Dewey Decimal Classification system, will be published next month. The Dewey editorial team completed final review of the proofs last week, and later this week Bob Van Volkenburg and I will travel to the printer (Edwards Brothers) to run a press check of the new edition prior to final printing.
We are now accepting pre-orders for DDC 23. The four-volume new print edition is $399 USD, but there is a 10% discount for pre-orders received by July 1. Pre-orders are scheduled for delivery to the Americas in May 2011, and to locations outside the Americas in July 2011. For more information and to place an order, please visit the DDC 23 web site in your region:

This might not be the best place to ask but...
It says that there's going to be new provision in 004-006 Computer science. Could you tell me whether there will be separate numbers for differnt computer programmes or will they still all be under 005.133? Our library is undergoing reclassification to Dewey and the summer project is the computer science section and, as we'll have to start before DDC23 is released over here, it would be useful to know whether there will be a big change that would make it better to wait for DDC23.
Many thanks.
