We regret to inform readers that Season Two of everyone's former favorite guilty pleasure, the Dewey Teaser, has been cancelled. Any remaining fans will need to wait until the release of the forthcoming interactive Dewey Teaser DVD to see the episodes of Season Two that were made but never broadcast. In the meantime, you'll be overjoyed to hear that Season Three is on its way already. In fact, in an audacious ploy to attract a new audience and boost our PubSub ratings, we're mixing it up a little by experimenting with a brand new time slot -- now Thursday is Teaser Day! -- and a brand new format -- watch out for different scenarios every week! And Episode One is coming right at you. Here's this week's deal. For reasons probably best kept to themselves for the moment, the DDC editors are keen to know how many of the names of places in the United States that appear in the DDC's Relative Index include a diacritic mark (like an umlaut, tilde, or acute). We know just of one such name.* But there may be more. What's your take? Get on the case; let us know; and we'll report back tomorrow.
* Warning: There's a well-known city in California which has an acute on the last letter of its official name, but not in the records maintained by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names and the Library of Congress, nor in the DDC. So we're not counting that one.
Ah, you're half way there. Since the major part of LinkRanks (not the only part, but a good chunk) is inlinks, you'll not only have to publish more content on a consistent basis (which you do), but make it interesting enough that other bloggers link to it.
Thanks for mentioning the list.
Regards
