Commenting on folksonomies ("personal Dewey Decimal System[s]"), Ben Vershbow at the Institute for the Future of the Book reckons that, when it comes to making sense of tags, "librarians may in fact become the most important people of all ... They are after all the original masters of metadata ... Librarians could become the sages of the web." We like it, Ben. But next time, less of the "may," "could," and "become," okay?
